Adelaide Guitar Festival to be held at the Auburn Institute featuring:

Tom Kneebone is a guitarist from Adelaide, South Australia. He is a founding member of the Bearded Gypsy Band and has performed with many other local groups such as Max Savage & The False Idols, Maggie Rutjens, Kaurna CroninAlana Jagt & the Monotremes, Big Bad Barry & the Dead Sets, Ollie English and Abraska.

Alana Jagt is an electric folk/rock artist from Adelaide, South Australia. Her captivating rasp soars over her blend of stormy alt-country and folk-rock noir that’s refreshing yet somehow familiar.

Mike Bevan specializes in jazz and Brazilian guitar whose music has been described as ‘sublime and romantic’.

Cam Blokland started playing guitar and singing at a young age. Raised on his parents’ record collection, he was initially inspired by the rock and blues acts of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Cam studied classical guitar at high school, but ultimately found himself obsessed with the guitarists of the late 80’s “shred” movement. He then went on to study jazz performance at the Elder Conservatorium. There he found new inspiration in the form of jazz-rock (fusion) and eventually completed his Honours Degree in 2009.
